To dance is to resist. To dance is to be reborn.
The end of the residency of the collaboration between the Amsterdam Academy of Theatre and Dance (AHK) and the École des Sables. This unique event celebrates the body in movement as an act of resistance and resilience. 54 dancers from Europe and Africa have woven dialogues of flesh and breath, crossing buried memories and the pulsations of the present. Each gesture tells a story, each undulation questions heritage, each leap defies the gravity of oppression.
In a world that imposes its silences, we choose rhythm. In the face of fractures, we respond with the fluidity of our bodies and the power of the collective.
